United are currently facing a goalkeeping crisis following Wayne Brown's poor performance between the poles and Emille Baron reportedly going Awol this week.

Speaking to KickOff.com, Mokhasi says he is ready to play at anytime but declined to blame Brown for their loss against Platinum Stars last weekend.

"Goalkeepers all over the world make mistakes and it is unfair for people to blame Brown for our loss. We are both professionals and support each other during games or at training. I am sure that he has put behind him what happened last week.

"Brown has taken his chance well and I have to wait for mine to come. I am working hard at training and if given a chance to play, I am ready to take it."

United are set to meet Abafana Bes'thende on Saturday without the services of striker Fikru Tefera and Dipsy Selolwane who are out due to yellow card suspensions; however defender Morgan Gould returns after serving his suspension last weekend.

Arrows head into the match having suffered a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Despite the loss to the Brazilians, the Chatsworth-based outfit has still made a good start to their campaign and find themselves in fifth place.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Arrows have met 20 times in the League since 2000/01. United has won 11 games to the KwaZulu-Natal side's six and outscored them 33 goals to 19.

Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Maicon will make his long-awaited return from injury in the FIFA Club World Cup final for Inter against DR Congo side TP Mazembe.

The Brazilian full-back is expected to step in to the side that beat Seongnam Ilhwa 3-0 in the semi-final but the Nerazzurri will be without Dutch international Wesley Sneijder, who limped out of the game with less than a minute on the clock.

"He is still recovering and we don't want to take any chances with him," Benitez was quoted as saying by Footballitaliano.

Sneijder remained upbeat claiming if Inter win, so does he and was positive about the prospect of team-mate Maicon returning to the starting XI to help Inter take the trophy back to Italy.

"We would definitely like to go on and win now. The group is doing very well together. We've recovered most of our players and Maicon will also probably be back; so I'm positive," said Sneijder.

The Brazilian defender hasn't featured for the Milanese side since they played against Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League in November.

Dladla wants Students scalp

Dladla: Ready for action

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Josta Dladla is raring to go ahead of the clash with Bidvest Wits on Saturday.

Amakhosi were beaten 1-0 by Free State Stars last weekend and the Soweto giants will be looking to get back to winning ways at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Dladla knows that the Naturena-based outfit face a tricky task, but the former Mamelodi Sundowns man is confident Chiefs will return to Jozi victorious.

"It is obvious that we not happy with having lost two games in the league on the trot, we have to turn things around and the best time to start would be with a win against Wits on Saturday," Dladla, who will face his former side in Wits, told the club's official website.

"They always a difficult team to play against and like us they have not won in their last couple of games, which means that neither team will we wanting to sit back as we are both looking for a win."

"Wits are the perfect example and prove that in the league there is no such a thing as a small team, they recorded a win over Sundowns who are in front on the table and that shows that we going to have a lot to do to break them down," he continued.

Dladla is hoping to see a more clinical Chiefs outfit in the league this weekend and is backing his team-mates to be a constant threat to the Wits goal.

"If we work for each other as we have been in the last couple of games we will be able to dominate the match and get ourselves into the opposition penalty box," the 31-year-old added.

"What is important is that when we do get in good goal scoring positions we score.

"I know that Wits have conceded a number of goals in their last two games but that means very little to us, like is said when we it comes to us we need to convert our chances.

"We know we have to start winning again if we lose games we only make our own lives difficult."

Wits want to expose Chiefs

Myeni: Suspended

BidVest Wits fancy gaining maximum points against a Kaizer Chiefs side who only seem to perform against Orlando Pirates.

Roger de Sa will lead his men out at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday night with the aim of exposing what seems to be a major flaw in Amakhosi's psychological approach against the perceived weaker teams.

However, the Clever Boys are not the most consistent side either. Their last three games have been a 1-0 win against leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, a 3-1 away loss to Ajax Cape Town and a 3-3 draw with AmaZulu in Milpark last time out.

Attacking star Sifiso Myeni will miss the clash through suspension, but Rene Richards and Sibusiso Vilakazi will return from bans.

Timothy Batabire remains a long-term absentee with an ankle injury.

Chiefs, meanwhile, have been read the riot act by coach Vladimir Vermezovic. He expects his men to recover from the shock losses to Free State Stars, Vasco da Gama and Santos in recent weeks by handing Wits a hiding.

Siphiwe Tshabalala will return to the side following personal leave to mourn the passing of his mother, while Itumeleng Khune will continue in goal despite his howler against Ea Lla Koto.

Chiefs are in fourth spot and will want to get closer to leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who are seven points better off.
