Miradi mikubwa inayoendelea Kenya

ZENITH BANK KENYA HEADQUATERS

*I don't see this happening because the bank has no stakes in the country. Or maybe they want to make an entry with such a 'boom.'
Only time will tell.

And this, is my new big house project that construction begun soon in Magufuland... [emoji85]

Hongera kamanda, now this is what am talking about, a man who knows what he wants and how he wants it.

There is no better gift than building a home for your family.... That's one dream every man must achieve here on earth before you get buried. Kazi nzuri kiongozi.

I just wish we woke up tomorrow and it's 2030 each year kuna 18-20 projects being launched

In 2010 the tallest buildings UC were btwn 80-102 m tall

Fast forward last year 2014/15/16 period 42 buildings above 130m to 300m have been approved by nema for construction in Kenya mostly around Nai

If we continue with this same spirit an average of 20buildings coming up yearly by 2030 =15yrs *20= 300, 30-100 floors building will be set up in Nairobi explicitly making it the best city in Africa cause already we have more projects than Joburg..... Tukiongeza Tramways, Sgr, railway stations, brt, satellite cities, stadiums, national park waaaaah 2airports and now Chinas Africa HQ is Nairobi by 2030 we will be a different city..... Naanza Btw kucollect data za documentary ya 15yrs ya kudetail Nairobi.... Our company bought a camera 750,000kshs 2 drones na editors wawili toka China on contract basis for 7 yrs we are starting documentary called the rise of Nairobi... It will be completed by 2030 big gamble here hope it pays of then.....

Hope oil will be profitable
Hope investment in ict will payoff by 2030
Hope investment in malls
Rail, sports and real estate will pay off anyway 15yrs to go... Wish me luck!!!

LIMURU TILISI ESTATE

Property developer Tilisi Developments Ltd has launched a 400-acre mixed use real-estate development in Kiambu that will have more than 3,200 houses and a logistics park.

The first phase of the new Limuru Housing Estate will involve construction of common-use infrastructure, apartments, maisonettes and townhouses. Apartments will eventually number 2,000, with the rest being townhouses and maisonettes.

The developer has set aside 178 acres for the residential houses, 85 acres for the logistics centre and eight acres for schools.

Tilisi co-chief executive Kavit Shah said the logistics centre will mainly target companies with insufficient warehousing capacity.

According to Mr Shah, the centre will host light industries, warehouse and repackaging facilities, shops, petrol stations, parks and public service vehicle bays.

“We see the Tilisi logistics estate as a key contributor to Kenya’s economic growth and success, with many companies now suffering insufficient warehousing capacity and insufficient access to facilities for repackaging and dispatch,” said Mr Shah.

The logistics park will have 17 five-acre lots for the warehouses and packaging centres, each with its own shops, petrol stations and bus bays.

While the plan allows for individuals to put up housing units, Tilisi will continue to manage the estate, providing garbage collection services, water and power supply, roads and drainage, street lighting and CCTV.

“We are also in advanced negotiations with Kiambu County and Kenya Railways to ensure we can get a commuter station on the eastern side of our suburb,” he added.

Tilisi is an alliance of developers including shareholders of Chigwell Holdings, Greenspan Investments and Solitaire Developments.

TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION CENTRE AND RESEARCH CENTRE

This is a flagship project under Kenya's Vision 2030 along Lusaka road.
The photos I could find are from last year. It hard to get any info on this but construction is ongoing. Last I counted it was well over 20 floor and still counting.

Lusaka road is also being expanded in anticipation of the Nyayo interchange( I believe)

Here is what is expected,Nyayo interchange

I love it, safi sana Kenya. We need visionaries in Africa siyo tu siasa za kupiga mdomo na udanganyifu wa kijinga huku tukiibiwa na viongozi wasiokuwa na mapenzi na nchi zetu. We need mapinduzi ya kifikra, uchumi, maendeleo within Africa, I salute you Kenya.

Unafiki na chuki za kijinga will never take/lead Africa anywhere. Wananchi yabidi tuamke na ku hold accountable these useless leaders of ours for they are thieves and are corrupting our minds. Just think of this for a minute: If you were elected President of some African Country more than two terms and haven't done anything significant in that country, why would you need to remain in power there when you know there's nothing you can do to move the country forward? Yet, we have presidents going into 3 decades of power and some even sleep in those chairs using stupid excuses that they are tired due to hard work, really?

It's a sad situation but lets hope it changes soon.
