MOMBASA: Fifth Suspect In Police Attack Arrested
Police on Monday arrested another key suspect allegedly linked to the foiled terror attack at Mombasa Central Police Station where three female attackers were killed when they stormed the police station.
Detectives from anti terrorism police and GSU raided a house within Majengo and arrested the woman believed to have allegedly played a part in the attack.
According to detectives, the woman was in contact with one of the female attackers killed in the foiled raid at the police station last week.
Her arrest bring the number of those arrested to five including Haniya Said Saggar – the widow of the slain radical Muslim cleric Aboud Rogo and three women of Somalia origin.

The three, Naima Mohammed, Saida Ali Haji and Shukuri Ali Haji, remains in police custody pending medical examination since they had difficulties communicating for allegedly harboring terrorists.
Saggar is detained for seven days to enable police complete investigation into her alleged links to terror activities.
Director of Public Prosecution DPP had earlier applied for 14 days to enable the officers complete what he termed as complex investigation that involves analyzing Saggar mobile phone and SIM card by cyber crime detectives.
Mombasa Resident Magistrate Emmanuel Mutunga said Saggar must remain in custody since the matter under probe was sensitive and of great public interest.
Mombasa Urban police boss Lucas Ogara confirmed that police conducted sting operation within Majengo on Monday evening.
“The operation is going on and officers are pursuing key suspects on the run over the attack at the police station. Details about the arrests will be communicated later.” said Ogara
Fourth Suspect Linked To Foiled Mombasa Attack Arrested
The star has established that the cyber crimes detectives analyzing mobile phone of the female attackers and Rogo’s widow have managed to make progress in unearthing key suspects behind the attack.
Haniya, accused of collecting funds to support terrorism activities in the country was arrested with detectives raided her house in Kanamai in kilifi on Wednesday last week.
Mombasa County Commander, Peterson Maelo said the women in Hijabs had pretended that they were reporting a stolen mobile phone when one of them stabbed two officers at the report office.
They also hurled petrol bomb prompting police officers to shoot them.
