Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria walked out of a interview on Citizen TV's The Big Question after a video of him allegedly asking youths to attack with machetes politicians opposed to the National Youth Service was played on the show.

Kuria had claimed during the interview on Tuesday, denied making inciting statements while addressing
youths carrying machetes in a mixture of Kikuyu and English. The MP said the allegations are a result of "mischievous editing".

He said that the remarks were made on June 26, adding that it was suspicious that the video emerged weeks later.

Kuria said the video was 45 minutes long stating that the full video must be played for Kenyans to know what was truly said.

"I was taken out of context. To understand you have to see the full footage of my speech," Kuria said.

He further said that he has taken the matter of how media houses handled with the Media Council.

Kuria challenged the host, Hussein Mohammed to play the whole clip, and walked out when the video which he claimed was edited was put on air.
