Mr Cameron tries to take his children to school once a week

With Cabinet to chair and a grilling by senior MPs to face, David Cameron could have been forgiven for hiding in his office this morning to swat up on the threats to Britain at home and abroad.
Instead the Prime Minister was spotted popping out of Downing Street to take daughter Florence to nursery, while officials continued working in his office.
However one reason for Mr Cameron’s insistence on sharing child-caring duties with wife Samantha emerged today – his mother-in-law.
