Hello guys l am a first year student of law at udom.
I have the have not understood to these terms that we have been given as a question to deal with, the question is that.
The strict liability is absolute liability"discuss"
Considering to what i have found on various sources like google and other they seem to confuse me that is the reason i have come for a help
I hope lawyers here can provide an appropriate answer.

Strict or absolute liability is an exception to the general rule in criminal responsibility, it is required that for a person to be liable there must be actus reus and mensrea. A person is said to be liable strict or absolute when a guilt act alone is taken into account to convict him without the state of mind . You should discuss in detail that aspect as far as justification is concerned.

Strictly liability is the among of the exception of the mens rea(state mind)

But
Strictly liability are the liabilities which a person is liable for the act he has done without proving of his state mind which means without proving mens rea

Strictly liability do not require any means rea or being in the mental to commit a crimme or during the commission of a crime.

In these strictl liability,simply doing the act, even if you had no intention of doing that or to break the law, makes you guilty or makes you liable of the crime. So you will be held responsible for committing a crime no matter what, just because you committed the act.


Let me give an example by using ur username

RAI PAZZY is driving at 40 miles per hour in school zone which is marked with signs that read 10 Miles per hour. RAI PAZZY is in no hurry and doesn't mean to speed, but he is listening music on CD and Paying no attention to the posted speed limit. This is violation of the law and is typically treated as strictly liability crime.

It doesn't matter that RAI PAZZY had no intention to break the speed limit, that's fact is that the exceeded the posted speed limit and broke the law.
