exposure keratitis ni infection/inflamation of the cornea due to compete/partial failure of the eyelids to close causing corneal irritation and dryness. Signs and symptoms include foreign body sensation in the eye,itching,conjuctival injection,photophobia. The most important aspect of treayment of exposure keratitis is treatment of the underlying problem causing the failure of the eyelids to close
