Wakuu,
huyu mtu anajua wazi hatoweza kushinda Urais wa Jamhuri ya Kenya na kwa hivyo anajiandaa
kwa kujiteua kama mbunge mapemaaa!
Kabaridi, I remember asking this question about folks running for the Presidency and if they can
also run as MPs like in the old order. Whats your take on this?

In Summary
Amani Coalition presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi and his running mate Jeremiah Kioni have been picked for possible nomination to Parliament after the March 4 elections.
The law allows nomination of presidential candidates and their running mates if they fail to be elected.
According to the Elections Act, parties are required to submit names for their nominees before the election.
Mr Mudavadi's spokesman Kibisu Kabatesi on Sunday dismissed arguments that the move was a sign that the Amani presidential nominee anticipates defeat in the March 4 election.
"There is no big issue because the law allows nomination of presidential candidates and their running mates," said Mr Kabatesi.
It appears that the parties are keen to use the nominees as a safe landing for losers, reward loyalists and address conflicts over the chaotic primaries. Party leaders could also use the posts to award relatives and friends.
Prime Minister Raila Odinga's brother, Dr Oburu Oginga, who lost the Siaya governorship primaries is on top of the list for possible nomination to Parliament.
URP has also submitted the name of Ms Violet Chesang, a sister-in-law of Jubilee presidential running mate William Ruto for nomination to Parliament.
Mr Adow Duale, a brother of URP spokesman Aden Duale had also applied for nomination to Parliament.
Other possible Senate nominees for UDF include public relations expert Fatuma Hirsi, Ms Nancy Gachoka, Muslima Dida and Sawa Ali, the party chief executive.
Mr Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement will nominate only women to Senate. They include assistant minister Elizabeth Ongoro, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru and Agriculture minister Sally Kosgei.
