Section 196 of THE PENAL CODE CAP 16 REVISED EDITION 2002 It states that any person who with malice aforethought causes death of another person is the guity of murder ,At the same time section 198 of THE PENAL CODE CAP 16 it states that any person who causes death of another person is the guity of ananslaughter , so the difference between murder and manslaughter is that by considering elements of MURDER which are i.causation ii.malice aforethought while element of MANSLAUGHETER is only causation, let me clarify your point of contraversal which is MALICE AFORETHOUT this is the intention of commiting an offence , so the difference between murder and manslaughter is malice aforethought (intention) ,in manslaughter there is no intention(malice aforethought)
