SUPPORT: President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and Uganda's President Museveni.

President Paul Kagame of Rwanda has urged the UN Security Council and ICC to discontinue the trial of the President and Deputy President of Kenya. Kagame has accused the ICC of failing to promote reconciliation at the time when Kenyans are eager to heal wounds, reconcile and move on.
Mr Kagame was addressing the 68 th United Nations General Assembly summit in New York. Kagame's remarks follow Ugandan president Musevenis speech at the same summit where he pointed out the manifestation of arrogance from the ICC in relation to the elected leaders of Kenya, saying many African countries supported the setting up of ICC because they abhor impunity.
