My Verdict: Kenya has done it...

Kenya is as polarized as ever and there are a few dates that stick out! Firstly, the geopolitical, economic and international consequences of this elections are worrying!

Kenyatta has been charged with heinous crimes, accused of using a vast fortune to bankroll death squads that slaughtered women and children. His running mate also faces charges of crimes against humanity, and as Kenya's election drew closer, the Obama administration's top official for Africa issued a thinly veiled warning during a conference call about the vote, saying that Kenyans are, of course, free to pick their own leaders but that "choices have consequences."

We made gains with the new constitution and now an individual that opposed the constitution with his all is an "overdose" away from the presidency.

Remember, Kenya's achilles heel has been inequitable distribution of resources and the son of Jomo is the beneficiary of corruption and the imperial president with their half a million acre land holdings. Do not expect him to address this anytime soon.

51.27% for Uhuru. this is a closed deal. Hongera kwa wakenya wote kwa kupata Rais mpya mliyemchagua.

Raila will not concede defeat!

Mkikuyu hawezi kukubali kutawaliwa na Mjaluo piga Ua, Mtazunguka kote, mtaongelea Demokrasia mnavyotaka, lkn mwisho wa siku, Mkikuyu hawezi kukubali, hata jeshi lenyewe haliwezi kumtii Bw. Raila Odinga akitangazwa mshindi!

Some assumptions you make are laughable, too many generalisations.

Huu uchaguzi hauwezi kuitwa free and fair
kuna a lot needs to be addressed

True!

VIVA mahakama ya ICC THE HAGUE>

I thought Kenyans have advanced compared to Tanzanians especially on how they judge presidential candidates. I did not know if Kenyans will vote for someone because he is Kikuyu even though he is not fit for that position. Or they will vote for someone because he is young despite the fact that the older is much competent compared to the young... Kenyans are not fair to Odinga, and I don't think if that drunkard will make a good president for the development of Kenyans.

Well stated Kobello. And on the same breath, 'The abscence of war does not necessarily mean peace.'

The Land issue is what I believe worked against Raila. You threaten to take back 'stolen' land and forget that the founding president dished out land all over the country to his tribesmen(read Kikuyu). They will gang up to protect themselves. Without the land rhetoric, Raila had a larger following. They of course talked about the Kenyatta family but the reality is that kyuks are spread all over the country owning prime parcels they acquired preferentially in the 'Settlement Schemes' that were formerly settler lands.

huyu mtu anajiita mwanakijiji ni mnafiki anajipendelea yeye kila thread yake lazm aweke sticky

..........the Obama administration's top official for Africa issued a thinly veiled warning during a conference call about the vote, saying that Kenyans are, of course, free to pick their own leaders but that "choices have consequences."

.......

The CORD coalition is lying about these figures of registered voters they are using the original first uncleaned voter registration list that was released in december right after registration. The final and cleaned voter registration list was gazetted released a few weeks to the general election. The reason for the change in total numbers of registered voters for a particular region was because of rezoning whereby they realized that some of the registration zones were in adjacent areas hence the difference and the move of numbers across constituencies, this anomaly only happens in adjacent counties not between CORD and Jubilee strong holds.(Look for the two lists and compare) another reason for reduction in numbers was double registration. The list CORD is using has not had the verification of persons registered and re-zoning of areas. i have looked at the gazetted list and i can tell you that raila is lying in a desperate attempt to get a second chance. If you don't believe me wait until the court case is heard you will be shocked by the lies they are peddling to the media.

Well, Kenyans have spoken and their voice is loud and clear.

At times Democracy is a tricky game and here we are witnessing a nation beeing handed over to THE DOGS!
