Ingredients
Plain flour - 1 and 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Egg - 1
Refined oil or plain butter - 1/2 cup
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Method
Mixture Preparation
1. Beat the egg very well until it becomes lighter and looks like double the original quantity. (As you do while making omlete )
2. Mix sugar and oil together and stir them pretty hard till the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
3. Add the beaten egg to this mixture. Mix well to blend all ingredients thoroughly.
4. Now prepare a mixture of plain flour (maida) and baking powder and sieve it to avoid any lump.
5. Now gradually add this maida mixture, to the batter prepared by mixing sugar, oil and egg.
Note: As you stir the mixture, it will become dense. Add some milk in small amount to make it smooth. Keep on repeating the process of adding maida and then milk as required, till batter is well blended (It should look fluffy/ soft).
6. Add Vanilla essence to the batter and again blend thoroughly.
Cake Preparation
7. Grease the baking tin (or cake tin) with oil and dust it by sprinkling maida over greased surface evenly.
Note: Use baking tin of 6 inch in diameter, so that it can easily get into the pressure cooker.
8. Pour the mixture into the greased baking tin.
Note: Baking Tin should be made of Aluminium
9. Heat the presure cooker on high heat for 2 minutes.
Caution: If baking tin comes into direct contact of the base of cooker, it can harm ( overbake ) the cake.
10. Now put the cake tin containing the cake batter, inside on cooker dish.( Do not put water inside the pressure cooker)
11. Close the cooker lid and do not put the whistle on the lid.Lower the flame from high to low after 2 minutes.
12. Let it cook for 40 minutes, then switch off the heat. Do not open the lid immediately.
13. After 10 minutes open the lid to check whether the cake is done. Put a skewer inside the cake.
14. If the mixture will not stick on it, means that cake is done.
Note:
You can make the cake without egg. Just add 1/2 cup refined oil more.
Make sure that you stir it pretty hard, till you find air bubble in the batter.

- changanya siagi na sukari koroga mpaka iwe nyeupe flani (ni vyema kama una mashine itakua fasta, kama huna bakuli kubwa la kioo na mwiko bapa vinahusika - hii niliitumiaga sekondari kwenye kipindi cha cookery)
tia mayai mix
tia vanila/maganda uliyograte ya limao mix
unga uchanganye na baking powder then mix
kama una zabibu au vikorombwezo (sometimes maziwa kwa mbaaali sana inategemea na mbwembwe zako), mix
paka baking tins zako siagi, hii huzuia keki kuganda kumbuka hapo oven iwe ushawasha
weka mchanganyiko wako
bake mpaka iiwe.....
Kuhakikisha keki yako imeiva vyema chukua palate knife dumbukiza, ikitoka clear jiandae kuidecorate
sijui nimeeleweka , i hope sijaacha kitu

Back to the topic, tutaanza na mahitaji then procedures and lastly heat specificatios.
Mahitaji;
1. EGGS .............................. 5
2. SUGAR ............................ vijiko 4 hadi 5 vya chakula
3. Siagi......................... .......¼ Kg ( hata ya 100g may work)
4. Vanilla....................... ......... Vijiko 2 vya chai
5.Unga wa Ngano.................. vijiko vya chakula10
6. Baking Powder................... vijiko vya chai 2
7. Zabibu kavu......................... ½ kikombe cha robo lita (si lazima)
NB; hayo mahitaji ni kwa jili ya keki ndogo kabisa hivyo basi vipimo vipo subjected to change depending na size ya cake utakayo.
Najua kwa wabongo tulio wengi tunakuwa na sukari zile nene za kawaida za kuunga kwenye chai ila na ni kikwazo kikubwa katika keki kuiva Barabara ila tuungane katika kipengele cha namna ya kutengeneza.
JINSI YA KUANDAA ;
Wakati huo huo kama unatumia mkaa basi moto wako uwe tayari na umewaka vizuri au kama unatumia oven basi uwe umewasha oven kama dakika 5 kabla ya kuanza kuoka keki yako.
- Weka sukari kwenye kinu na itwange hadi iwe powder kabisa ( kwa wale wenye common brown sugar kama za ilovo)
- Weka unga wa sukari kwenye bakuli lako la kukorogea ukichanganya na Blue band
- Changanya huo mchanganyiko wa sukari na Blue Band kwa nguvu hadi B/Band iwe nyeupe kabisa na sugar particles ziyeyuke kabisa.
- Weka mayai kwenye mchanganyiko wa B/Band na Sukari na koroga kwa nguvu hadi mchanganyiko uwe wa aina 1 (kama una blender itakuwa safi pia)
- Weka Unga wa ngano vijiko kama 5 kwanza then huku ukiangalia uzito wa mchanganyiko wako endelea kuweka unga katika huo mchanganyiko hadi vijiko 7 au nane then angalia uzito wa mchanganyiko. Mchangayiko usiwe mwepesi sana au mzito sana (kwani ikiwa nzito sana haitaiva vizuri katikati ). Koroga kwa nguvu hadi mchanganyiko ushikane vizuri na kusiwe ma mabonge yoyote yale.
- Weka B/powder yako na endelea kuchanganya (ni vizuri katika hii hatua ya mwisho hata kama una blenda ukakoroga kwa mkono katika bakuli ili mchanganyiko uwe vizuri/ichanganyike vizuri.
HEAT SPECIFICATION
Washa oven yako joto liwe nyuzi 150, ila kwa mkaa hakikisha kuwa moto sio mkali sana au joto halipo chini sana ila la wastani. Kama moto ukiwa mkali haitaiva ila itababuka tu juu juu na kama ukiwa ni mdogo basi keki haitaumuka wala kuiva vizuri.
Baada ya dakika 15 au 20 basi angalia kama keki yako imeiva , Jinsi ya kujuwa kama keki ipo tayari ni kuingiza kijiti kwenye keki na kikitoka na mchanganyiko unao nata ujuwe bado, ila kikitoka kikavu basi keki yako ipo tayari, pia hata rangi ya nje utaiona imebadilika
