NBA Season 2015 - 2016: Special thread

Siyo uwongo, Spurs wapo vizuri defensively; ndiyo maana they are the best in the league

Kama kuna timu ambayo LeBron hataki kukutana nayo fainali basi ni SAS.

Ni jinamizi.

Na kama asingekuwa Ray Allen kuokoa jahazi leo hii jamaa angekuwa 1-5 kwenye fainali.

A play off like game...if Spurs play like this thru out the rest of the season, it will be Spurs vs. Cavs in the Finals

Combo ya Parker, Ginobili na Duncan ni hatari kwa kweli.

Hata benchi lao lina kina sana.

David West, Borris Diaw, Patty Mills, na wale ma rookie wawili......

Kwa kweli so far so impressive.

Ila msimu bado ni mrefu.

What a game, Spurs win 99-95
Ha ha haa Nzi, una moyo. You speak so authoritatively, yeah...in your world the defending champs do not exist. To you GSW never met any of your favorite teams, they came from nowhere only to be given the trophy on a platter. This, at least, is where you part ways with Nyani Ngabu...he recognizes a good team when he sees one, good for him!

I am always very sober and objective when it comes to analyzing sports.

I give kudos where kudos are due.

But, in order to see my objectivity you have to read what I write without the influence of preconceived notions.

Otherwise you will just end up calling me every name in the book because your judgment at that point will be clouded with emotion as opposed to logic.

Go Spurs go!

I know you know it. It pretty tough in the West. Spurs and OKC are tough teams to beat. As I have said if Spurs keep on playing this good defensively, they will take the Conference championship.
I haven't said that Warriors aren't a good team. They are. But, I also see and recognise Spurs as a good team too.

Go Spurs go!
Anybody missing in Spur's line up? Is this the same team that was pulverized by the Clippers last year? Oops, I was forgetting...those damn injuries! I hope they stay fit and healthy to the end. We don't want the Warriors facing another handicapped outfit yet again, do we?

Mwaka huu tutaanza kumchapa huyo Spurs kwenye West Finals alafu tukawachape tena Cavs...

Hii ikitokea sijui watu watasemaje..

There you go again!

Picking the wrong verb to characterize something.

I really hate to wear my professorial hat in this forum but sometimes you force me to.

Dude, do you know what 'pulverize' means in the context of sports competition?

It means to defeat someone easily/ completely.

Now, let's revisit that series.

In how many games did the Clippers win it?

Did the series go down to the wire or didn't it?

A series that went all the way down to the wire, to the last play of the game, and you call that pulverization?

Where do you get that unmitigated gall to call such a series a pulverization?

Sometimes I really think you are far gone from reality.

I mean, you can't be serious.....

Goodness gracious.

Kuna mtu alisema he sees Curry as more of a Shooting Guard than a Point Guard... But this is what professionals see after 1.5 season... He is fourth now and still counting..

No no no, not in Nzi's watch! According to him this year's finalists are Spurs and Cavs, period. Tonight he was rooting for Cavs of course and when his wishes couldn't materialize his frustrations turned to the only team that is currently leading in most departments; most points, most scores, best W/L record...and the defending champions.

GSW fans (probably band-wagoners) do not want to hear anyone rooting against their team.

Try it and you will be labelled some names.

Their 1st loss of the season vs Bucks they complained of fatigue after OT game vs Boston and was a back to back on road
(Barnes was not there as well); we accepted.

2nd loss vs Mavs, complained that their best player Curry was not there; we accepted

3rd loss vs Denver, complained of missing Draymond Green, their versatile PF; we accepted.

However, they still call it a mere excuse when one says that iff Cavs were health they could have won it.

We will sit here waiting for those finals...

They said the same thing last season, ila tukaona wanaishia First Round..

Alafu this time around It's gonna be TEXAS Derby.. Rockets vs Spurs.. Wakichomoka hapo wanakutana na OKC au Clippers

Ngoja tusubiri....
