NBAA Introduce mid examinations

INTRODUCTION OF MID EXAMINATIONS

The NBAA Governing Board in its 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] extra-ordinary meeting held on 29[SUP]th[/SUP]December 2014 approved among other things the conduct of mid-examinations inthe months of February and August.

These examinations will be administered forthree subjects namely:- A5:Business Law, B4😛ublic Finance and Taxation I andC4😛ublic Finance and Taxation II. The aim of introducing these examinations is to allow flexibility to those who are required by the law to register and sit for these examination papers at their convenience.

The Education and Training By-laws of 2014 requires any person having a foreign Accountancy qualification outside East Africa to sit and pass the above mentioned examination papers before granted work permit or certificate to practice in Tanzania.

Also NBAA candidates who have left with any of those subjects will be allowed to register and sit for these examinations. For 2015, these examinations will be conducted on Tuesday 25[SUP]th[/SUP] and Wednesday 26[SUP]th[/SUP] August 2015 in Dar es Salaam centre only.

Registration deadline for these examinations will be on 14[SUP]th[/SUP] August 2015. Examination fees are as follows:-

NBAA candidates who would like to clear their papers under these examinations shall be required to apply using the normal entry examination forms. Those with foreign CPA qualifications shall be required to fill the following two forms which are available in the website.
