A British Airways plane meant to land at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Friday, March 27, was ostensibly denied access at the airport.
The pilot of Flight BA65 was forced to return to London Heathrow.
According to Flight tracker, the plane is said to have left Heathrow Airport airport at around 10.10 a.m. on Friday morning, March 27 and was due to land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on the same day at 9:50 p.m.

Kenyan officials at the airport are said to have denied the plane access to the airport.
"We had a message the Kenyan authorities have denied us access to their airspace," the Flight BA65 pilot told Air Traffic Control.
This is after a directive by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that several measures had been put in place to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, including the suspension of all flights.
"All international flights suspended effective Wednesday 25, at midnight," he announced.
The Kenya High Commission in London has extended the visas of Kenyans who are unable to travel back due to the travel bans.
"The Kenya High Commission, London wishes to bring to your attention an updated advisory from the UK Home Office, following the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic worldwide which has placed many persons of various nationalities at the risk of overstaying their visa duration in the United Kingdom due either the requirement for self-quarantine or border closure.
"The British Government has provided temporary visa extension to all foreign nationals in the UK whose visa/permit had expired since 24th January 2020 and are unable to leave the UK due to COVID 19 travel restrictions," the announcement read.
