If they truly were serious about it, they could have done this eons ago. I see this as nothing more than a negotiating strategy, for what, I don't know... The verdict is still out.

Or maybe the opposition truly has come to its senses. I'll be glad if they prove me wrong.

Problem for opposition its leadership is extremely myopic. This is why they agitate for a constitutional order which they deprive their own followers in their political parties...

Look at Mbowe who wants katiba mpya while he does not tell us why a nation of almost 60 years will need a new constitution.

The opposition abhor constitutional amendments calling them "viraka" without knowing no constitution is the Holy Bible which will never be amended...

The US constitution is over 200 years and has about 18 "viraka"...... so the issue is not "viraka" but whether the constitution serves us and is respected

All opposition parties have no term limits but still clamour for the nation katiba to retain constitutional presidential limits...

Wallowing in hypocrisy and self made contradictions are recipe for poor leadership
