I’m not sure if it’s worth upgrading my Mac and switching from Air to Pro. What do you think? On one hand, the Pro is more powerful and has more features. On the other, I’m not sure if I really need it since I mainly work with text.

Consider your budget. If you can afford the Pro, why not go for it? Even if you’re a writer or mainly work with text. For me, the Pro is a bit pricey, plus it’s bigger and heavier than the Air. I mostly work on the go, so I prefer something more portable. I also work with text and use the speech-to-text feature a lot on my Mac. There are new AI tools out there now, which I found info about https:// setapp.com/how-to/how-to-use-speech-to-text-to-dictate-on-mac. They’re available on all Macs from 2012 onwards, as far as I know. Good internet connection is important too, and my Mac Air handles the browser really well. So I don’t feel the need to switch to the Pro.
