Joan Oliver, whom Laporta plans to install as the club's CEO, spoke with some concern about the Neymar-gate saga, stating that the club could keep counting the costs for some time yet: "I think that when you look at the financial prospects for the coming years, there is one question mark: how much Neymar's final price will be. So far it is €100m, but with the legal proceedings that are ongoing, it could rise by €122m in pecuniary liabilities. Neymar could end up costing €222m".
