Nokia is currently working on a new way of recharging handsets of tommorow by harvesting electrical current from ambient electormagnetic radiation that are emitted from cellphones' own antennas, Wi-Fi transmitters, TV masts and other items. Currently the boffins at Nokia have already developed prototype devices that are able to harvest up to five milliwats being a quite a way off in the future. ultimately this tecnology aims to convert electromagnetic waves into electrical signal similar to RFID (radioEfrequency identification)
