IGADD-Intergovernmental Authority on Drought and Development which is now The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) , a multinational body founded in 1986 has eight members Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrean, Uganda and Kenya, with a focus on development and environmental control.
Tanzania is not a member of The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
