When, not if, nuclear war breaks out, the West would be obliterated!
Most large cities in the USA will be hit.
Nuclear bases underground would also be hit.
Major Military bases in the US would also be hit.

In the UK most cities will be hit, just as the many Military bases.
That goes also for major NATO countries and major cities.

The West would also have time to retaliate , and strongly too, from their mobile assets across the world, submarines , space etc.
Many Russian cities will also be obliterated.

Africa will not be spared, the fallout from the debris will cover the whole planet and we won't see no sun for months, effectively killing all plants and hunger will do the rest.
