Why did they try to hide the telepropmpter last night at his press conference? Those two squarish glasses on the sides were nowhere to be found but behind where the journalists were seated, there was a tv monitor where he read his opening statement from. Amazing!

If he is the so called one of the greatest orators of our time then why in the hell does he need a prompter for his opening remarks at his press conference?
 
You were suppose to listen to the speech an siyo kuangalia teleprompter imefichwa wapi?...what you need is his message.
 
What is peoples problem with the teleprompter? Do you expect him to memorize all his speeches? its just like having a piece of paper except it lets you look up at audience more, get over it! Speeches are about the delivery not memorizing words.

Kwani alikuwa hajui alichokuwa anataka kuongelea? Kwani alikuwa anatoa spichi ya saa zima kwenye utangulizi wa press conference? Anaboa period!
 
Ukiona hivyo, jua ya kwamba ratiba yake ya siku haikumruhusu kukaa na kuyapitia makaratasi yote yale...speechwriters wamefanya kazi yao, wakampatia mzee kwenda kuisoma....Mambo madogo sana hayo kwa muheshimiwa kama yule......

Jamani ni stlye/technology/kwenda na wakati - period. Na inabidi watu waanze kuzoea. Telepropmpter is one of the most effective emerging presentation tools, especially for audiences like that. Ok, alternatively he could have put the same text on a piece of paper or he could have used powerpoint slides. Would that make you happier? This is 2009!

Samahani mwanzisha mada, kwani Republicans hamtumii teleprompter? Mbona Bush ameitumia mashine hii, tena sana na bado alikuwa anaongea madudu - hii ni kama IT yoyote ile -garbage in, garbage out, so it applies to Dubya ambaye alikuwa anatumia telepromoter lakini alikuwa anachemsha.

Na kabla hujaanza kubisha na kusema Bush alikuwa anaongea spontaneously na hakutumia teleprompter naomba kuwasilisha ili nikate mzizi wa fitna:

Did Bush use a teleprompter in his press conferences? Yaani teleprompter ya nini kwenye press conference? Why do you need a telepropmter just to give a few words for opening remarks? Do you really need a teleprompter for that when you're the so called greates orator of our lifetime? Puliiiiiiizzzzzzz.....

Hiyo teleprompter ilivumbuliwa 1950s na ni kifaa kama notes, sasa unataka kumwona Obama shuffling papers and notes?
Alafu mbona Piyush alikuwa na teleprompter but he failed to be a great orator like Obama? Obama is a great orator, like it or not! kwikwiiiii... mwaka huu mtakunywa sumu kwa hasira maana mnatafuta angle zote lakini hampati.

Obama amekuwa anatumia teleprompter too much. Nilidhani kwa mtu mwenye akili kama yetye angeweza kuandika main points kwenye kipande cha kikratasi na kumwaga razi kavu kavu, lakini hata kwenye town hall meeting amekuwa anatumia teleprompter.

Teleprompre inatakiwa iwe kwa ajili ya hotuba zinazotakiwa ziwe zimeshatayarishwa na wahusika wamepata nakala zake kama ilivyo kwenye congressional meetings. Lakini hii ya kuja mtaani na kuweka teleprompter inazidi kipimo sasa. Hata Bush angekuwa anatumia teleprompter kila wakati watu wasingejua kuwa ni kilaza.
 
Nisaidieni. Hiyo teleprompter ni kitu gani?
