The problematic aggression of which Congo is a victim of Rwanda is just an executive acting as a centuries-old arm of real aggressors: western powers (USA and Europe). We are at war against the Western Empire. This should be clearly said by the leaders to the Congolese people.
*How did we get here? *
The idea of dominating the Congo as an exclusive reservoir of raw materials was proposed to the American administration by Albert Einstein. In his letter dated August 2, 1939, he recommended to US President Theodore Roosevelt to ensure that the Congo remains forever a reservoir of raw materials for the United States and the West if America wants to retain its status as a global superpower. In the UK, Churchill expressed similar views, stating that Congo should not be a Belgian affair, but a global [Western]. All the various successive American or European administrations have always signed up to this scheme aimed at preventing the development of Congo. In western doctrine, Congo must remain weakened.
Let's go back to Rwanda's aggression: The DRC is at war against the western empire that undermines this aggression in Rwanda. This is a proxy war where Mr. Paul Kagame represents the true interests of the American and European powers. The goal has always been to loot the vast and opulent strategic natural resources that the Congo hides and that the Western industry needs to shine in the age of modern technologies. For a few decades, the Balkanization of the Congo has been part of the Western agenda drawn since 1989. The current war in Kivu is included in this agenda in order to force the Congolese leaders to surrender the Kivu to Rwanda.
*Will Congo make it against the Western Empire? *
The geopolitical landscape of today’s world, in view of the mutations in recent decades, offers a golden opportunity for every African country to break free from the clutches of the West. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, world power has ceased to be unipolar. While since the early 90's the West was busy creating costly wars here and there in the world, a new power pole was quietly emerging (the Global South) with countries like China, Russia, India, Iran, North Korea, etc. The west is losing speed and looks like a toothless lion. The process of his decay is underway. The world's power is now shared between multiple poles. Once unipolar, now power has become multipolar.
The geopolitical and geostrategic landscape of today's world is changing the game in favor of countries still under the yoke of neocolonialism masterfully executed in the form of neoliberal ultra-capitalism.
IF CONGO WANTS TO MAKE IT, there are courageous actions that are needed in the short, medium and long term. In the short term, Lumumba country must change the force rapport by forging new strategic alliances with the Global South led by BRICS powers such as Russia, China, India, Iran, North Korea etc. The Congolese leaders have no choice but to follow the example of the current leaders of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger because it is impossible to defeat Rwanda while having the sponsors of Rwanda as allies...
In the medium term, Congo will have to build a deterrent defense system. This calls for important reforms in the current system. When a people is ostracized, it is their duty to establish its own defense.
