On this day in 1783, George Washington, then commanding general of the Continental Army, summons his military officers to a tavern in New York City to inform them that he’ll be resigning his commission and returning to civilian life.

Of course, in six years he’ll be coaxed out of retirement and elected the first president of the United States.

Ila tuache utani George Washington alikua mwamba Aisee kuanza movement pale Jimbo dogo la Massachusetts mpaka kufanikiwa kuunganisha majimbo mengi Kwa ushirikiano na jamaa zake haikua mchezo aisee!

Waingereza hawakuamimi Ndio mwisho wao hivihivi maana zile battle zilikua balaa!
