One day! People of Republic of Tanzania will come together and raise their voices in unison to say to President Kikwete, to all members of the Kikwetes Administration, to the members of parliament, and to much of the mainstream media: "You have failed us miserably and we won't take it any more."
While we had every reason to expect far more of you, you have been incompetent as you have led this great nation to a stream of pompous, greedy, and corruption. You have breached trust with the Tanzanian people in the most egregious ways. You have utterly failed in the performance of your jobs. You have undermined our Constitution, permitted the violation of the most fundamental treaty obligations, and betrayed the rule of law.
You have engaged in, or permitted, heinous leadership abuses of the sort never before countenanced in our nation's history as a matter of official policy. You have taken Tanzanian men and women for granted. You have continued to honor your predecessors legacy of denying Tanzanians rights to a fair living. You have continued to provide shield to your greedy arrogance friends. You have proven to be an incompetent leader, a leader without even a coherent plan for every monumental blunder in our country.
You have acted in direct contravention of values that we, as Tanzanians who love our country, hold dear. You have deceived us in the most cynical, outrageous ways. You have undermined, or allowed the undermining of, our constitutional system of checks and balances among all the presumed equal branches of government. You have helped lead our nation to the brink of corruption, of a fraud contemptuous of our nation's treaty obligations, federal statutory law, our Constitution, and the rule of law.
Because of you (and your predecessors), and because of your jingoistic false 'patriotism,' our country is far poorer, our nation is far more despised, and the threat of diseases are far greater than ever before. It has been absolutely astounding how you have committed the most horrendous habits of frequent-flying, spending millions and millions of much-needed monies unwisely; while the lives of million of Tanzanians are continuously lacking basic human needs. Yet you still wear smile on your face, asserting your Hari Mpya-Nguvu Mpya-Kasi Mpya nonesense - when what you have done flies in the face of every Tanzanian (except your greedy pals). Your hypocrisy is mind-boggling - and disgraceful.
What part of the "Golden rule" dont you understand? What part of "be honest," "be responsible," and "be accountable" don't you understand? One day Kikwete, one day! We will look straight up in your shameless eyes and tell you: We won't take it any more! One Day!
