This is a very simple soup to make.
Ingredients:
1 yellow onion, sliced into rings
1 3 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 bay leaves
2 cups water (stock from kidney beans can be used)
1 Tbsp. yeast extract or marmite
Black Pepper
Directions:
1. Sauté onion in a sauce pan on medium heat till lightly golden.
2. Add water, yeast extract, oregano, bay leaves and black pepper.
3. Simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Add more water if necessary.
