I am so concerned to write about online dating as it is coming at peak than onsite dating
Changes in science and technology has resulted to the drift in the marriage and relationships market, from the traditional contexts such as works, institutions, peer groups and day to day physical meetings to online dating
If you have ever experienced online dating you are not the first time person, since the development of web 2.0 technology in 1997 online dating gained it's prominence
It was shown that, up to 30% of couples appeared to have met through online, furthermore studies stresses that, people are fighting to obtain relationships online
Despite that, there are clear disparities whether online dating is ethical and if can result to marriage or long term relationships, However social media like Facebook were found to be very strong in renewing old relationship and dating
On top of that it seems that people who are closely exposed to people who found their patners online have positive attitude towards online dating and vise versa. Though a lot of studies have regarded online dating as the complement than a substitute to offline dating
Surprisingly, the study above revealed the low success rate of people who looked for patners in social groups like faith, church, and hobby [40], this stressed my mind to create more ideas on online dating.
Some researchers have termed online relationships as shallow and meaningless, this is due to the lack of full band width which is distinct from face to face communication, bandwidth must demonstrate both verbal and nonverbal forms of communication.
Furthermore, according to the social context cues theory, the social media kind of relationship is more impersonal and less intimate
As per social context cues theory this kind of relationships provokes a kind of behavior called flaming, this results to uninhibited behaviors which lowers trust over the other side, this is to say blunt and closed relationship plays nothing in the future, Otherwise it can be brought firm if people meet offline and rebuild the relationship.
On contrast to the above, Many theorists reject the idea that, the lack of Social context cues can result to insurmountable obstacles to limit the development of close intimate relationship
So, there is the option that, this kind of relationship perceived barrier can be overcame by allowing longer and more frequent communication like calling, texting and messaging, of which I refer it to steal a lot of people's time as it can become their full time job, and loss of money resource on daily bundles
