Hi team
It's been a while since I said a word in this group. A lot have happened, a lot has been said, I never wanted to respond to anything because to be honest my spirit was so down and I thought I needed enough time for myself and plan for the best of you all.
As mentioned to you earlier last week, it's very true that I resigned as the founder and CEO of TMT a couple of weeks back, but as I said, I was going through a lot finding my inner self and didn't necessarily need to talk by that time, as we understand "the less men think, the more they talk". Apparently, I was so shocked when my resignation was brought forward to you guys even before I authorised that to happen and it was framed like I am coward and a betrayal. It's clear that, talking something negative about someone while he is not ready to defend himself say more about you that the person you are talking about.
Let me rewind the whole story to it's roots so that it's clearer and transparent to us all.
In April, 2017 I travelled to SA to meet up with Createn whom I knew a couple of months back and he became my forex mentor. I really tried so hard to learn, and getting it right I convinced him to partner up with me and start a company that would spread this knowledge among Tanzanians.
I was so enthusiastic and passionate about forex, I believed it's the best tool that would change the financial lives of my TZ brother and sister while I leave a legacy behind. Am glad that Createn took the challenge, but he conditioned me that we will use JP markets as our affiliated broker, so they became our first partner then FNB joined us later. Everyone was excited for the journey, but I was extremely electrified because I believed that I would have done one of the greatest thing for my country and it's people.
I came back to TZ and started building TMT. I came up with the name 'The Million Team' not as a symbol of money or wealthy as most of you thought but as The Million Team to be exact is the number of people that would join this movement and get empowered. I myself designed the logo that we have, something that you might hv never noticed is the 2 'T' in TMT are both bullish and bearish candles (Harami to be specific), with some short wicks, The 'M' was meant to be Double Top. The slogan "Recipe for success" was something I came up with to mean 'A great spice that would add value to people's lives'. To be honest I don't really know where "For no Reason" came from, and I actually don't know it's better meaning. I registered the company as a consultancy firm and took 51% of shares while 49% went to Createn.
The journey began in 9th Sept, 2017 with a team of 3 people, Rea joining as the facilitator and employee no. 1 who turned to be the 3rd share holder and director of the company in Nov after getting an equity of 30% of the company. The team amazingly grew to team of 8 people as Am resigning.
Our 1st and foremost vision for TMT was clear to everyone that we are having a goal to upliff people's lives, people who join the movement and not necessarily those leading the movement. As broke as I am, money has never been my focus. To me uplifting people's lives came in 2 shapes;-
Firstly, Installing appropriate skills and knowledge to people who join us, so that they would be independent and profitable traders
Secondly, Helping those people to use the knowledge to uplifting their economic and financial lives.
Glory glory, the first 2 months were sweet and cherished, everything went confidently in the direction of our dreams. It was a dream come true for all of us at the company, and the people who joined the movement. I was fortuitous, the whole world was literally mine. Sometimes I wouldn't take salary as a director come month end but my heart was still the most joyous. It's one of those few days I wish I had for the rest of my life. In front of my own eyes I saw a student turning $199 to $5,800 in a space of 7 weeks, Stephen is one of the guys who motivated me and still does. Tremendously exciting!
Then, there came Nov. Everything turned upside down. I saw our trading account which was managed by the mentor getting from $37,000 to red ashes. I remember it's that week we were in Dodoma, since then nothing has ever been the same. December was even worse, I saw all colours that comes by the forex, we lost money left, right and centre. We lost money, the team lost money, accounts were blown like bubbles. This is that 1 month I will remember till the day Am getting down the grave. My souls suffered and consequently developed misfortune and fear
I was having a bad dat, bad week, bad month bad year, bad everything, even felt that I was having a bad life when it got to a point where people would call me scammer. No words could explain that situation. I was torn apart especially on social networks and it was really hard dealing with it.
Had vaccassion and all pain healed. We came back in January witj greater hopes. I usually hold a belief that it's only through darkness that the stars and moon shine. I was so confident that we would still do what people say we can't do and prove all naysayers wrong. Life has a natural habit of offering us a second chance, it's called tomorrow, I trusted that our tomorrow would be joyous and will create enough smiling faces, as they always say "The harder the fall, the greater the comeback". I was truly hoping for an enormous comeback.
But, the truth is since January nothing happened, nothing changes. Things fell apart even worse than before. We would make money on 10 pips from Monday to Thursday, then Friday we would lose it all in -100 pips. Jan - Feb - march - April nothing really changed.
It got worse that the same people who doubted about us started having doubts. I would be called all names, spoilt brat, thief, conman, fraudster, scammer. At some point It was bad that I let my emotions overpower my intelligence and started reacting negatively on positive critics.
Only after my mindset became positive is when I realised that we were starting to read a new chapter while still rereading the last one. As I told you earlier, I personally consider you people not as clients but as business partners, because you don't buy shoes or maize from TMT but you invest your harf earned coins hoping they grow into profits. So I doubtlessly knew that the only advice that would change the face & future of TMT would entirely come you, and that the only actions that would revolutionize TMT was supposed to come from us 'the TMT staff'.
That's when I humbly came back to you for the advice and we as directors were supposed to come back with a proper way forward to rescue TMT and it's members. I remember it was a 2 days job that myself and Rea tried to clarify on certain issues and collecting suggestions from you. The following were the advices that popped up frequently;-
1. Members wanted a new broker after it was threatened by Createn that JP Markets was not a better broker for us. ((Honestly, I still don't understand why that came out while it was still an internal matter, that level of unprofessionalism would even sue us for company defamation, we were just lucky that time around)). People suggested that they need;
● Broker with lower spreads, swaps and commission
● Broker with smooth and friendly transaction options including mobile money
● Broker with better customer service
● And most people just didn't want JP because they were already made to believe that they are market makers and are B booking our tradrs
2. Members wanted advanced forex classes on top of what they learnt at TMT. Something that would sharpen the trading skills.
3. Members wanted a reform in mentorship, by improving, removing or correcting some faults that have made us consistent losers. And that;
● More mentors should be acted to work alongside with Createn
● We should get down to the bottom of Risk management protocols bh using convenient SL, trailing stops and TP
● Everyone should be given a room to grow and become independent trader, a room that anyone could post chary analysis and we discuss as a team and raise to 1 conclusion
● We should level up our strategies when it comes to economic news, because that's where we've been losing most money
I and Rea collected all the suggestions, kept emotions aside and analysed everything with ultimate keeness. I remember I, Rea and Faith sat to discuss that everything that was happening and we thought that it was fair and wise if could as well discuss with Createn on the mentorship topic. So we agreed that I and Rea would have to sit down with him and ask him and advice some issues that were raised concerning mentorship, including adding more mentors who would work with Createn as a team. I believe and still believe that it was the smarted move of us as directors to revive TMT and save the company and it's members.
I truly embrace cooperation and believe that great things in any business are never done by one person, they're done by a team of people. I still don't know who among the 3 of us (Me, Rea and Faith) took the discussion to Createn with twisted words that I and Rea are ganging up to overthrow Createn out of the company as the mentor and director. That information didn't sit well with Createn and that's when you guys received acrimony text by Createn that He will never ever step down as the mentor, and if you don't him you can press the exit buttom. That's one text which took ALL my spirit down to the carpet, I could personally deal with all the losses that we've encountered but I couldn't deal with how People who chose to trust and join us are being treated like cabbages by same people who started the movement. That's when it was not worth it anymore.
If you have played cards and always been losing, you don't change the cards but change how you play the cards. As I said earlier, if TMT was to realise it's visions, actions was supposed to be taken by the staff, especially the directors, but very unfortunately we failed to change from inside still expecting change from outside. It's literally impossible to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I personally wouldn't let same flame burn me twice, that would be undergrading my intelligence. So on those grounds, I chose to take responsibility of all the misfortunes and drop my roles as the director of TMT.
I know its the hardest decision I ever would make but I believe thats it's the smartest choice I took. It's really tough dealing with the situation but it's for tue betterment of the people who joined the team.
As I usually say, I would put my last cent on forex, that's how I trust this thing. No one must tell you that you can't prosper through forex, it's real and I hv shared with some of u in the chats group how a friend of mine took $3000 to $1,200,000 in 7 weeks only. You only need a strong and determined team to trade with.
I really enjoyed my time at TMT met so many beatiful people, met amazinh friends, brothers, and sisters, i have learnt enough lessons and above all I have personally grown as an individual and an entrepreneur. All I know is A bad day lasts 24 hrs and life goes on, sometimes bad days are there to remind us that we have good days to look forward to. As long as I don't set limits for myself, I am flexible to jump to anywhere and beyong.
As young as I am, I still hv plenty of time to prove the world that I had great intentions for TMT, I still hv a room to see my dreams come true and have space to rectify my mistakes.
I clearly know that you guys have lost som much money and still losing, it's because of the silly mistake I did in April, 2017. Am young, Am human being, Am not perfect, I hurt people and specifically hurt my very own people. I feel guilty for getting some you into deep fire, I didn't see this coming, I didn't know who am partnering with. I feel remorse for your pain. I would always get my knees down to the floor and plead for forgiveness. To err is human, to forgive is divine. I learnt something that - when you make a mistake there are only 3 things you should ever do about it... Admit it, learn from it and don't repeat it
I sorely admit my mistakes on letting you get burnt like kerosene, I hv learnt from it and will never repeat it. This is why I don't consider TMT as a bad luck but as a blessing, because it taught me a lesson though I paid the price. With TMT I invested all I had, but to be honest I am leaving TMT with my trust and reputation among people buried down to graves. I will do whatever it takes to bring back reputation that i hv been building since when I was a teen. As I stated, I hv enough time to fulfil the vision I had for TMT, because my spirit right now is motivated even more than before... I will always come back for you and do exact thing I have been dreaming to do. I didn't introduce forex to my TZ brother just for them to lose money. No no!
I repeat again, I am guilty for the mistakes I did and Am paying the price for it. It's a lesson not a loss, it's a temporary necessarily detour not a dead end. I Am that guy who don't solve a challenge by fighting, I use my brain and other people's advices to get things done. AND ONE DAY YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MY VISIONS FOR TMT.
Most of you would be wondering what SJ is up to.... I think for now I still need time for myself, get my inner peace, burry all the negative vibes, erase losing memories and come back to complete what i started.
I am not a failure, and Am not entitled to it. I started TMT with bold visions, I wanted to leave a mark on this beatuful land of TZ And I will come back to get my legacy. I am still building something that will get me to the top of that mountain and one day you'll see my name of books for what I did for my country. I need time, coz I don't want to repeat same mistake again... I am coming to get my reputation back, I am coming to deliver what I promised you. As I said, I PROMISE that I will do anything I have to do for you guys to get that financial freedom that you've always wanted.
