the ground breaking of the first piller of stone in konza was in the begining of 2013 launched by kibaki. then we held election just after...then from then to 2014, they started desgninig and constructing powerlines to konza and also mapping where the fiber will pass through and water supplies. then there were bidding by different companies and some MoU, and there were also a few legal court cases, up to 2015, many companies have shown intetest (over 250) but they all all awaiting for the government to finish laying of basic necessities, they are all waiting for that point where Konza is for sure moving forward and never going back, building the office for Konza after supplilying it with electricity is one sure way for the govt to show that its finally ready to take off.... and actually its on schedule, although its off by around 6months
