Federal incentive payments are motivating physician practices and healthcare centers across the US to migrate to EHRs. And, while physicians accept the concept that EHRs will improve the level of patient care, many feel that the effort to make the change and adapt to the new system may not be worth benefit. This sentiment, which physicians and healthcare centers have been expressing for years, has new support from a recent Healthcare IT Market Research Study conducted by Weill Cornell Medical College.
