What's wrong with our beloved country? What trait of demons are haunting this country? Defilement of constitution has become the new way of leading (actually ruling) this segment of African continent once nicknamed as the hub of peace.
When she ordered the revenue authority, judiciary and police to follow and abide by the laws we sang songs and chanted slogans of praises to this first female president of Tanzania.. But now we reap disappointment and anguish of regret and despair.
What we contrived in mind when she got in power is the hope that she would heal and reunite the nation whose peace and tranquility were lost by observing and respecting the mother law (katiba).
Today she has openly (on camera) pronounced to defile our constitution by banning the political parties from exercising their polical rights in the country i.e carrying out political rallies and demonstrations. What a shame to her and the nation at large! I can see from the start even her mission to rebrand Tanzania will definitely fail. The country led by wish and will of a person can't attract investors.
She has given such a baseless scapegoat for this dictatorial decision that:- lets give her a time for boosting the country economy first, then once ready political rallies and demonstrations will be allowed. Gosh! She has forgotten that this isn't given by her will. It is a constitutional right.
