Ben Mwanakijiji is a Tanzanian-born, US-based author who has written extensively on political issues affecting Tanzania, including anti-corruption and democratic reforms. He is a founding and active member of JamiiForums, Tanzania’s most popular social network. Mwanakijiji is also the author of two Swahili novels, Majeruhi wa Mapenzi (The Victim) and Upako toka Kuzimu (Anointing from Hell). He lives in Metro Detroit, Michigan with his three children.
