Abstract
We have eyes but we cannot see, we have brains but we cannot think, we have intelligence but we cannot learn, we have ears but we cannot listen, we were created by mercy but we cannot have mercy on others, we can feel pain but we think others cannot feel pain, we have the right to complain against offence committed to us yet we think others don’t have the same right when offended, we insist to deserve justice which we ourselves destroy for others, we demand protection and defence which we cannot reciprocate to others, we have identical experience that we fail to apply in our settings.

What would it be if a revolution takes place today that for Albinos to be safe, it requires skins and body parts of non-albinos for rituals as is with Albino’s for prosperity, victory and success?. Will this revolution be received with ease by non-albinos? Will they accept being hunted, ambushed and killed and maimed by relatives of Albinos for making Albinos safe? If the wide-spread killing of Albinos is not subdued in time, it is likely that their killing by ill motive men will supersede skin cancer, the biggest killer of Albinos in Africa.

The bottom-line of the study is that Albinos are real human beings just like non-albinos are; except for their disability which is in some instances normal to human beings of all races as it would have been for a non-albino although the disability on any human being must be managed appropriately. The society therefore must take with it Albinos’ burdens to compliment their being humans.

The central focus of any just constitution; which is supreme to all, is assurance and protection of the welfare of the citizenry without due regard to class status of the very people. By welfare it means lives of the citizenry, not group-wise but rather individual person as there is no welfare without life first.

To uproot this painful and venomous thorn stuck in Albinos bodies’ flesh which shames society too; it will be yet another generational curse to society to leave the fight only to State power while the citizenry assumes the role of criticizers and watchers instead of watch-dogs.

Facts versus Fictions

Albino parts are a cure for HIV/AIDS.
Although there have been significant findings on HIV and AIDS, it is still unfortunate that there is no documented cure for HIV or AIDS. No research or any medical tests stands to substantially claim that the use of any concoction whether herbal or animal in origin would mount a significant body defence into cure. Hence albinism or any related genetic human skin condition has not been researched into being a cure or protection against the disease.

Albinos are never buried. If they die, they varnish into thin air regardless of tight security beefed up ahead of burial session.
All human beings are mortal; facing death at one point in their lives. Albinos like any other humans also die, decompose and get buried or disposed according to normal culture of their societies. Mortuaries and morgues have not reported any mysterious disappearance of a ‘body into thin air’ for any reason necessitating the beefing up of security to avoid such occurrences.

Albinism is a communicable disease through body contacts [not through inheritance of human genes].
Albinism is a congenital disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of the gene that controls colour. It is a lifelong condition which does not disappear with treatment or time. Since this is an inborn condition, it cannot be passed from one individual to another by contact or any means like blood, air or bodily fluids except only by parents who both carry this gene. Hence, only children born of Albino-carrying-gene parents may give this condition to their kids. It must be observed that these genes have to exist in both parents for the child born to be an Albino.

No record of dead Albinos in the morgue statistics as when they die, they normally varnish to thin air to evade burial.
All human beings even those with genetic conditions like Albinos eventually face death. There are many accounts of Albino and records in mortuaries and places of burial where they have been recorded as dead and buried. This can also be attested by medical professionals who have certified death for these individuals.

Albinos are found along the coastal strip only.
Albinos are found distributed all over the world. Albinos also exist in all races, white or black with a frequency world-wide estimated to be approximately 1 in 17,000 people. Some places or countries have more Albinos than others, example in Sub-Saharan Africa the frequency is around 1 in every 5,000 people, while in Europe and the US it is 1 in 20,000. Some communities like Zimbabwe the frequency is around 1 in every 1000 people.

No white Albinos, all Albinos are the products of black race.
Albinos also exist in other races, White, Chinese, Indian etc. But recently the condition has been seen to be more occurring in the African race than others. There are various theories to this including other areas to have unsuitable conditions for the gene to survive like skin cancer, kidney diseases or excess vit D which is harmful or even mate selection leaving Albinos with no chance to reproduce and propagate the gene further.

Albinism is a curse, thus why they cannot look upwards while sun overhead unless their eyes are covered by lenses.
Albinos don’t have a protective colour in their eyes which normally gives eyes colour. This makes their eyes weak when looking at light sources. Because the sun is brighter than other sources, it makes it even harder to look at it directly than it is for normal people.

Albino cannot give blood to non-albino but non-albino can give blood to Albino.
Blood donation is dictated by blood groups/types and not by gene contents. Any person can receive blood if his/her blood group/type matches. Albinos have a defect in the gene that does not directly affect the quality of blood or anticipated blood donation. So Albinos have been receiving blood from other normal skin pigmented individuals when the blood groups matches and have donated to others as well.
