Shirikisho la Russia lilisambaratika wakati wa Gorbachev na kuna tetesi kuwa aliruhusu makusudi msambaratiko huo baada ya kushinikizwa/kuhongwa na Marekani. Kwa Putin Gorbachev ni kiongozi dhaifu na aibu kwa taifa.

Yeye yuko anapambana kuirudisha Urusi katika uimara wake; inawezekanaje tena ahudhurie mazishi ya mtu aliyeidhoofisha? Si naye ataonekana kuwa ni dhaifu/mnafiki?
