Pepe joins the group

Real Madrid continue their preparations ahead of this Saturday's La Liga game against Deportivo at the Santiago Bernabéu (6pm CET). Pepe joined the group for a session in which Ancelotti was accompanied by the Real Madrid Castilla goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero. Ramos, Khedira, James, Coentrão, Modric and Pacheco trained at Madrid's indoor facilities.

Whilst Casillas, Keylor Navas and Herrero performed specific training routines, the Whites began the session by completing two circuits: one involving physical work and another than combined physical work and ball drills. The next exercise was centred at closing down and moving the ball around quickly. Afterwards, there was a crossing exercise with shots on goal. The three Madrid goalkeepers took turns in net and the defenders tried to clear the ball away.
