Gareth Bale- "Learning off the best player in the world(Cristiano) is just incredible. He's helping me become a better player. He's been amazing since I've been there"
"He also helped me alot in where to find a best house in Madrid" "If it wasn't Real Madrid, it would have been very, very difficult to ever leave. I wanted to test myself. Winning the Champions League shows exactly why I wanted to make the move. I watch [the goal against Atlético] back now and I just think how much my knee must have been killing me because I slid so far celebrating"
"Madrid's weather is much warmer, which I love. Pre-season training in the summer is insane as it's so hot. You sweat just standing there."

UEFA Champions League - Match Day 5 FC Basel 0-1 Real Madrid
POST MATCH ANALYSIS
Real Madrid played its 5th match of UCL 2014/15 campaign tonight against FC Basel away. Basel is famous to do upsets against good European teams recently and they play really well at their home and have a brilliant crowd behind them.
Basel's defense was pretty good tonight, especially in the first half n hour of both halfs, they closed down spaces well n were compact at the back but Real Madrid kept moving the ball around consistently with good intensity thanks to our skillful midfield trio of Isco Kroos & James.
Real Madrid's hard work paid off when Karim Benzema made a very good run on the left flank n fed Ronaldo to finish it off for his 71st goal in the Champions League. That goal was made by Benzema's superb run and Ronaldo's great positioning and finishing.
Isco played really well in a more defensive role,he is so versatile that Ancelotti can slot him where ever he wants to and he makes Carlo proud where ever he plays.Isco might look a small guy but I am always impressed by his physicality, Modric also has that attribute. Bale was not at his best tonight, maybe he hasn't recovered from his injury completely, he gave away the ball easily 3,4 times today but even then he came very close to scoring when his shot got back after rattling against the bar.
Today RMD's defense seemed a bit shaky at times after scoring the first goal and Basel came close to drawing on level terms after they started pressing higher to find an equalizer but Varane & Navas kept their attackers at bay.
A good performance overall,an away win with a clean sheet is always appreciable. Ancelotti's Madrid has now equalled the record of most consecutive wins of Mourinho's Madrid with 15 consecutive wins.
