"January will be very tough and the game against Milan will help us prepare for it", stated Carvajal.

Isco and Carvajal spoke to the press in Dubai on the eve of the game against Milan. The midfielder showed his optimism about the team's current form: "We have a very difficult start to 2015, but we hope to carry our 2014 form and the run of consecutive victories with us. The team is prepared and we are confident enough to face a complicated month of January."

"We've just arrived to Dubai. I didn't know much about the city but we were given a great reception. There is no point talking about Milan. We are aware of their history and the titles they have won. It will be a great game, in a beautiful city and we expect to enjoy it as much as possible."

"Wearing the world champions jersey for the first time is extremely exciting because of what it represents. It is a great prize, it was hard work achieving it and now we get to enjoy it."

Carvajal: "We are facing this game with great excitement"
"It is a game that suits us and we want to prepare for and face it with as much excitement as possible. We have a very tough January coming up and this will help us prepare for it. It will be a special match between the two teams with the most amount of European Cups between them."

All the squad members who travelled met the Whites' fans in the team's resting place.

An enormous amount of expectation surrounds Real Madrid no matter where they go. That was just case during the autograph session that took place in the Park Hyatt Dubai, the team's hotel. Whites supporters from the United Arab Emirates enjoyed themselves and were able see their idols up close during an event in which all the players who travelled for the Milan game took part.

With the great excitement of seeing the European and World champions in the flesh, the Real Madrid fans collected autographs and immortalised the moment by having their photos taken with the players. "Thank you, you are the greatest. Hala Madrid!", said one of the first supporters to arrive.

Real Madrid have been nominated for the Club of the Year prize at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai along with Bayern, Ajax, Juventus & Basel.

Real Madrid CF
(Spain), for having won the Champions League for the tenth time in the club history.






Ajax AFC
(the Netherlands), for having won the domestic Championship for the fourth time in a row, with the continuous focus on youth development.






Juventus FC
(Italy), for having won the domestic Championship for the third time in a row, with a record number of points (102).

Modric:"This year has been a major success sporting-wise. With Real Madrid, I have won four trophies, including the Champions League. It really has been a phenomenal year but the injury spoiled it a little. I hope next year can be even better.
