the bad thing is we live in a society which doesn't value self employment. people percieves self employment as a luxury they can only afford after being employed. youths should be told that, the only way they can survive is through self employment no matter the hardship and it is not a luxury. huuuf!! ngeli tabu.

Its a good idea so to speak but it is difficult to implement to most of us because we are nurtured in believing that educated people are the ones to be employed and self employed are those who in one way or another didn't do well in their studies. On top of that the education system doesn't prepare youth for the self employment option it rather prepare them to be employed. And that's why its normal to see a graduate staying at home waiting to be employed. The society tends to discourage youths with a self employment mind through how they treat their intention. I once witnessed a parent shouting to his son I didn't send you to school to become a photographer if you can't get a job as a lawyer stay at home I can feed and dress you up to the day you will be employed! We still are in a society that doesn't value self employment and if someone is self employed is just for sometimes before he she is employed

Global forum on agriculture research,GFAR inatoa funding opportunity kwa vijana wote ulimwenguni wenye umri chini ya miaka 39 wanaofanya au wenye mawazo mazuri juu ya kilimo, uvuvi na ufugaji.

Mwisho wa kutuma proposal ulikuwa ni tarehe 11 mwezi wa tatu 2016, ila wakabadilisha na kuwa tarehe 9 mwezi wa tatu 2016.

Fursa hii niliigundua siku chache zilizopita na kwa neema ya Mungu nimefanikiwa kutuma proposal yangu tarehe 9, unaweza ukaipitia na kujua wazo nililonalo juu ya Taifa letu la Tanzania.

Naomba msiache kucomment chini ya proposal yangu pamoja na kushare katika mitandao ya kijamii maana kwa kufanya hivyo mtaifanya proposal yangu kuwa katika fursa hii na kuwa ni moja kati ya proposal 20 zitakazo chaguliwa, hii ni muhimu sana ndugu zangu .Kuiona proposal na kucomment (muhimu sana) tembelea hapa YAP proposal #371: Enabling Local Fresh Organic Producers to Succeed in the European Market (Joel Robert, Tanzania)

Fursa bado zipo, wewe ambaye umekuwa ukitafuta funds, usijali zipo fursa mbalimbali za kuwezeshwa na nyingi mno, tembelea www.terrevivagrants.info

Same happened to me buddy. At one time I told my father who is a peasant that "wanna come and employ myself in agriculture". My dady told me not to dare doing so. "It will be unspeakable shame that I can't withstand" he said.

My advice for you brother, never give up on your mission. It doesn't matter how long it might take, keep going, never loose your focus. Success is earned through hard work and determination. Don't be afraid to take calculated risk. And last not least, never test the depth of the river with both legs.

Thank u for the advice. It has rejuvenated my hormonal secretion of excitement and courage.

But ur last sentence is instilling fear in me. Telling me that I should take extra care when indulging in agriculture.
In fact u have kept me in dilema, wondering what decision I should make. If i keep one leg atop while the other one is in water, definitely the former will drag me back.
Had it been ur last sentence i would certainly have taken and worked on ur advice.
