Returning residents luggage tax exemptions

Please in case there is any TRA expert, can let me know what are goods/luggage stuffs that a returning resident is obliged to pay while coming back from abroad.

TRA website has tiny information and still a lot of hearsays, my friend in Uk is about to rehome back in Tz. Please any positive idea will be highly appreciated, apparently I need to use his return to carry with him some stuffs...TIA

Personal belongings and they should be used not new one motor vehicle registered in your name for more than 12 months.

Ila nilikutana na agent mmoja wa C&F akasema
Utakuwa na exemption only kama hujawahi kurudi nyumbani zaidi ya miaka 2. Ila kama huwa unakwenda na kurudi unakuwa qualified for exemption
 


Subject to paragraphs (1) and (2) of this item, the following goods may be exempted under this item when imported, as baggage by person who the proper officer is satisfied is bona fide changing his residance from a place outside to a place within Tanzania.
  1. Wearing apparel;
  2. Personal and household effects of any kind which were in his personal or household use in his former place of residence;
  3. One motor vehicle which the passenger personally has owned and used outside Tanzania for at least 12 months (excluding the period of the voyage in the case of shipments.)
