Kenya 2022 Ripoti ya Tume ya Haki za Binadamu yasema Uchaguzi wa Kenya haukuwa huru na haki

WATETEZI WA HAKI ZA BINADAMU WATOA RIPOTI YA UCHAGUZI

Kwa mujibu wa tafiti zilizofanywa na mashirika kadhaa ya kutetea haki za binadamu katika eneo la Pwani, uchaguzi uliofanyika siku chache zilizopita ulikuwa na dosari kadhaa katika maeneo mbalimbali. Mambo haya yanafanya uchaguzi huo uonekane haukuwa huru na haki.

Watetezi hao wametolea mfano wa Kaunti ya Tanariva ambako inadaiwa kuwa afisa moja wa tume ya IEBC alipatikana akisafirisha sanduku la kura akitumia pikipiki.

Aidha, kwa mujibu wa ripoti iliyotolewa na Shirika moja la kutetea haki za kibinadamu huria, takribani watu 2000 wanadaiwa kusafirishwa hadi kaunti ya Kwale kwa ajili ya kupiga kura. Hii ni miongoni mwa kaunti zilizo shuhudia vurugu kubwa wakati wa zoezi la kupiga kura.

Madai haya yanapata nguvu baada ya kutokea mgawanyiko mkubwa miongoni mwa maafisa wa juu wa IEBC wakati wa kutangaza matokeo ya mwisho ya mshindi wa u Rais ambapo tume hiyo ilimtangaaza William Ruto aliibuka kidedea kwa kumshinda Raila Odinga.

Not only is this human rights commission historically pro-Raila, but the reasons they are giving are inconsequential.

I read the report. They say 200 KIEMS kits failed, so that's a big reason why it was not free and fair.
Really?
Out of 46,000+ KIEMS kit, 0.4% of them failed, so the whole election was not free. Huo ni ujinga.

Also, that some people got 2 ballot papers. How many, and how many votes did they affect?
Your fingerprint can only be scanned once, and the turnout is then immediately recorded and transmitted to Nairobi.
If people were getting more than 1 ballot papers, the votes cast would not match with the turnout.

Kwa watanzania msiojua, this has been the Civil societies strategy for looking for donor money.
Hakuna mzungu atawapa pesa if they don't appear to cause chaos.

They travel all over Kenya looking for very isolated incidents, then call a press conference. Shenzi wao.
