Rihanna talks to Chris Brown

Rihanna is reportedly back in contact with Chris Brown, the ex-boyfriend who was convicted of assaulting her last year.

“It’s been almost a year since they last spoke, but Rihanna felt like she could try to be friends with Chris again,” a source tells Heat magazine.

“Seeing how emotional he was on (the BET Awards) really touched her. She’d never seen him like that before.” Rihanna and Brown have reportedly spoken over the phone, but have not met up in person.

“They were each other’s first love and he’s missed her so much,” the source says. “Rihanna knows that if she wanted him back, he’d be there in a second.”
