Government is the group of people with the authority to govern a country or state.
This people are put into power through democratic processes called elections (Ref.Tanzania)
The U.S. president, Abraham Lincoln defined democracy as the Government of the people, by the people, for the people
What are these people governing in the country?
I do not want to mention a lot of them, just this one will be enough for today i.e. State Resources
As the nation we have a vast of resources, they belong to us the people. It's our right to explore them and no one can resist us.
But due to fore established laws and regulations, these resources have been left to be under seen by the government for the benefits of all people in the country.
i,e. The resources should benefit the people through services offered by the government. Because of this, Sometimes I think, the government can build houses and give it to its people. Because the government is managing resources on behalf of its people.
Mind you, the basis of government works is for the people. If the government is not for people is it working for whose interest?
To end up my thread, let me quote the bible verse from Proverbs 14:28 it says'
"A large population is a king's glory"
My Questions to my government of Tanzania does not give room for answer to come with respect to the management of this pandemic. Why are people left dying, with no one being bothered?
Why do they use our resources on issues not of our interests?
To us health is our number one priority. My fellow citizens it is time to wake up.
Safe guiding people's lives it is a fundamental role of the Government. Why people are being asked to contribute for the pandemic while the government is not giving even a financial plan for the pandemic?
We have to change, stand out.
