Hostilities between Real Madrid and Barcelona were showing no sign of abating on Friday night and there was even the suggestion a civil war had blown up in the Madrid dressing room between Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Manchester United star has been left out of Saturday's game against Zaragoza by his coach, who said merely: 'It's my decision.'
Ronaldo was critical of Madrid's defensive tactics against Barcelona, saying: 'I don't like it but I have to adapt to what they ask me to do.'

When asked if he was unhappy about comments made by his player, Mourinho said: 'No, I have no problem with it. He has his opinions.'
Ronaldo will miss out on the chance to add to the 29 league goals he has scored in 30 games this season. He is two goals behind Leo Messi and nine off the La Liga record of 38 league goals in a season.
Ronaldo may well be being saved for Tuesday night's second leg, as regardless of Madrid's slim chances of going through, Mourinho admitted his desire to stay in Spain and get the better of Barcelona was stronger than ever after their complaint to Uefa about him.
