Yes, it is unbridled greed which is a mother off all failures and Mzee Samweli Sitta is just another statistic in that regard. Mzee Sitta has a long public service career where under his watch the much maligned privatization took place when he was bossing TIC. Little regard there was given to indigenous interests as the push was to disempower us in favour of our ex-colonial masters and their Asian accessories that now redouble as neo-colonial investors

When he was the one term speaker of the House, he tried hard to shake off the much dreaded image of pro-business protagonist as he carved House rules that were an anathema to the ruling clique leading to the dismemberment of the Kikwete first cabinet courting umbrage from them leading to his purge from his speaker docket much to his personal anguish.

But Mzee Sitta is not easily pushed aside as he cashed in on constitutional stalemate to burnish his establishment credentials which were all but flickered out. Mzee Sitta reincarnated his career with the speaker of the unconstitutional constituent assembly despite the law behind this constitutional alien clearly offending article of amending the current constitution.

CCM confronted with backbencher revolt from own party decided to widen the constitutional amending process with unconstitutional 210 non MPs mostly hand-picked in a process which defies the basic principles of a free and fair election.

Under our current constitution, only NEC has constitutional and legal mandate to supervise and declare MPs and NEC not being involved and through archaic gerrymandering: unconstitutional special interest groups were identified that boosted CCM to bypass the two third criterions stipulated in the constitution.

The ironies are passim! CCM had coveted a constitutional legitimacy of endowing the nation with a new constitution but adopted unconstitutional means to do it! This hypocritical stature defies logic and commonsense. Nowhere do the ends justify the means, and the process still looks irreproachable!

It is in this unconstitutional gerrymandering that Mzee Sitta refurbished his CCM loyalty and doffed off whatever respect he had garnered during his one term stitch at the helm of the Augusta House. During CCM humiliation of the then Speaker of the House Mzee Sitta under the veneer of "women empowerment" we truly sympathized with his personal gnashing of his teeth.

But knowing the presidential election was around the corner, Mzee Sitta abused his position as he cowered whoever attempted to deny him the opportunity to present a new constitutional draft to president Kikwete whom Mzee Sitta now earnestly prostrate for a serious consideration for presidency come 2015.

The problems for Mzee Sitta are ubiquitous because where president Kikwete has his presidential wishlist well hidden in his pocket, and Mzee Sitta is not in it but it is obvious Mzee Sitta's lack of political skills that will undo him most.

President Kikwete being an amenable, nimbler politician may even toss away his preferred list of presidential successor to favour Mzee Sitta but the political bridges the gaffer has burnt to appease president Kikwete are too many and too potent that crossing without them to attain the presidency is now considered a foregone conclusion that Mzee Sitta is a wreck train waiting to happen.

Mzee Sitta named names those who differed with his views some of them can be rephrased as "wewe unasema uongo" to "wewe unatupotosha" without fully evaluating their political reverberations. Those under his vehement fire were silenced but vengeance runs deep and 2015 appears to be the right date to settle the score and extract retribution.

Mzee Sitta now has very little patience even with the now defunct Warioba commission and occasionally he lambasted it for incompetence despite being blessed with one of the best brains this nation can assemble. When his rapporteur committee is derided for similar deficiencies Mzee Sitta was almost at ease to disparage against the Warioba draft report, the gaffer diabolical incense was defensive and polluted the gathering he was chairing.

Mzee Sitta loves to applaud the resumes of his rapporteurs but fails to dish the same accolades to Warioba commissioners something that sounded prejudicial and unfair for if the qualifications of the office beholders sanctify their offices then the token ought to be exercised with the same equality and not just to bolster Mzee Sitta presidential delusions.

On Wednesday 08[SUP]th[/SUP] October, 2014 Mzee Sitta will hand over his unconstitutional draft to the jubilant president Kikwete who will be applauding himself for the political dosages he had applied upon Mzee Sitta to prod this about-turn.

Telegenic president Kikwete will shower plenty of euphoric accolades to Mzee Sitta and his henchmen to a standing ovation but when the dust has settled president Kikwete will hastily jump to plan B and that is to pass the draft constitution through a referendum and now the much avoided NEC will be given a leeway to manipulate the exercise in a manner that will ensure we have a new constitution.

This will be easier because the "NO" representation will not be accorded with the same resources the "YES" agitators will marshal but voter apathy will remind the rulers of the day that "you can force the donkey to the brook but you cannot force it to drink the water.

President Kikwete will claim all the constitutional credit, and Mzee Sitta will know his political demise after the CCM central committee vets only five presidential nominees and his name will not be in that list. At that time Mzee Sitta will wonder aloud whether the bridges he had burnt were worth it, and I will be looking for facial expressions to confirm my hypothesis.

Possibly, he will have the decency to offer a public apology particularly to the members of the clergy whom he had accused of harboring erecting a theocracy of all empires! But do not bet on that, though.

How can i be included in comments while i was not considered in decision making try not fooling us other times.

Well, life goes on. When it comes to decision making you involve yourself. Do not wait for others to do your biding do it yourself.

Nobody fools anyone we fool ourselves when we depend too much on others to carry our can.

Sitta is a charlatan, one who could waltz to the dismay of naysayers, and march to a tune he could not embrace, but a charlatan nonetheless.

Some would say a charlatan because of the abovesaid.

I fully subscribe to this observation.

One of the biggest losers in this CCM nomination process is mzee sitta.

Poor old man, he thought he knows JK now he must be cursing himself for serving dutifully an ungratefully master.

He must be wishing he had done the right thing on katiba making

Samwel Sitta who was the House Speaker during Richmond protracted saga now is prodding presidential hopeful Lowassa for a debate over those scams.

The question I would like to pose to Sitta is that good governance?

Takukuru, DCI and CAG had both submitted reports to the House Sitta shepherded clearing Richmond was no scam at all. Now Sitta faced with a devastating humiliation of ccm at ballot box is seeking to change the wind of electoral debate from ccm monumental governance failures to offloading those failures to one man Lowassa who is not even a cabinet minister in the last eight years.
