Dear Members,
I humbly seek your advise wide the legality of the monthly Saragambo exercise since it appears to be the area I reside in is being dictated by the Chairman.
1. Recently he threatened by mentioning a fine of 200,000/= if one does not turn up by an SMS.
2. He tends to be very rude and dictatorial and makes us go and undertake work in toilets and gutters whose jobs are perhaps those of the Municipal council and/or the owners of the buildings where the toilets are situated.
3. He calls Meetings on sudden notices.
My question therefore is Saragambo a legal exercise? and thereof, can individual Chairmen etc dictate a fine? Can a citizen challenge the legality of the fine and/or the exercise overall?
