The 12 secrets to getting a good deal on a second hand car (...and Rule 1 is don't get in the driver's seat)
1. Do not get in the drivers’ seat
2. Check the colors match on every panel of the car
3. Check the tyre tread with a 20p piece
4. Check the bolts for tell-tale scratches
