Anyway more pictures are coming ....construction is set to start in October upto 2020

They will build 2 tunnels 7.748km
58m high bridge and 17 bridges
A port in Kisumu worth 500mn$ and a record 45 station along the way from Naivasha to malaba(kenya/uganda) border to meet uganda SGR

SGR from mombasa to Malaba is Expected to Cost kenya 13.56bn$


Last year alone KRA (KENYA REVENUE AUTHORITY) collected 13.81bn$

Kenyas Entire Budget is 25bn$ this year 2017/18 fuscal year


By 2027 KRA will be collecting 25bn$ annually To finance various projects within the country


Any country that wants to grow goes through a period of heavy borrowing more so in countries without Minerals

Kama Debt to GDP Ratio ya South Korea mpaka 2006 ilikuwa 250% debt


Kenya sai tuko 48%


Middle income Ensures more places to borrow

Middle income status also allows a country to buy weapons and expand its military with the exception of Nuclear


LDC like Tanzania fall under the

Everything but Weapons status

You can buy anything you want to help your country grow but you cannot expand you military


Also you cannot borrow beyond a certain threshold....kenya borrowing ability has been expanded greatly


If we want we could technically request a 50bn$ loan and fund most projects mtatiii


But Out current growth rate is risky for such

Also volatilty and Political climate in Kenya will make That sum catastrophic if someone fucks up good.....

Point of correction, Kenyan borrowing imeshapita red line of 50% GDP debt ratio. Mpaka Jana mmefikia 52% and counting.

Am not proud of it at all but juu ishaanza i could as well marvel in is glory but again GALANA irrigation scheme would be 1000000 times better than SGR but we cant have wat we want that is why am voting opposition to see if by 2022 galana will be a reality...
