In the process of consolidating the activities related to CEFA NGO in Njombe District, and with special reference to its social promotion activities, the partners of Cefa NJOMBE Project wish to inform the general public about the following employment opportunity for one:
Job Title:SOCIAL ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
Duty Station: Njombe Milk Factory
Starting Date: 13/03/2010
Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
§ Management of Njombe Milk Factory’s (NMF) social and promotional activities;
§ Coordination of NMF information/awareness activities;
§ Planning and management of prevention campaigns against poor nutrition;
§ Writing food security and animal husbandry development plans;
§ Management of “Milk for schools programme”;
§ Organization of guided tours in the NMF for school children;
§ Promotion of social meetings and events.
Required Qualifications and Related Experience:
§ Degree or Advanced Certificate in Education or Community Development, issued by a recognized Academic Institution;
§ 6 months’ professional experience (including internships) pertaining to social promotion activities are a preferential condition;
§ ability in conducting training and capacity building sessions;
§ problem solving and organizational skills;
§ teambuilding skills and ability to work in a in multicultural context, with both project staff and local partners;
§ Use of Microsoft Office package and Internet;
§ proficiency in English language; both written and spoken
§ Some experience in project proposals writing is preferred.
Payment / Salary:
Attractive from the onset of tenure, and adjustable during the tenure to accommodate increased cost of living.

· Kupanda na kuendesha kampeni kwa kupinga hali ya utapiamlo
· Kuandika miradi ya maendeleo inayohusu lishe bora na mifugo
· Kusimamia mradi wa “Maziwa shuleni”
· Kuandaa ziara Kiwandani kwa ajili ya wanafunzi wa shule za msingi na secondary
· Kuitisha mikutano na semina kwa ajili ya kuelimisha jamii
