Over 150 munitions destroyed in Kursk Region

MOSCOW, Engineers of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies destroyed more than 150 munitions in the Kursk Region, ministry’s press service told TASS.

"Search and deactivation of explosive items in the Kursk Region are performed daily within the framework of the effective counterterrorist operation regime. Engineers destroyed over 150 munitions over the entire time," the press service said.

Ministry’s ordnance technicians found and destroyed the warhead of a Tochka-U missile fired by the Ukrainian army, the press service added. To retrieve the munition, professionals had to dig a pit and find all the explosive components of the missile, it noted.

Russian Armed Forces disrupt Ukrainian army attacks in Kursk Region

A tank, seven armored vehicles, and two motor vehicles were destroyed also

MOSCOW, The Russian Armed Forces thwarted attacks of assault teams of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk Region and also disrupted attacking attempts, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

"Battlegroup North units supported by army aviation and artillery fire thwarted attacks of enemy assault groups in the direction of Borki, Spalnoye, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye and Malaya Loknya. Attempts of attacks in the direction of Komarovka and Kremnoye were disrupted. The enemy lost over 60 people killed and wounded as a result," the ministry said.

A tank, seven armored vehicles, and two motor vehicles were destroyed also.

Russian Armed Forces liberate one more settlement — official

MOSCOW, Servicemen of the 810th detached Guards marine infantry brigade of the Black Sea Fleet liberated one more settlement in the Kursk direction, head of Akhmat Special Force Major General Apty Alaudinov said

"The enemy is being destroyed daily by all forces. The situation is such that our units below - 810th brigade units - took a settlement and continue the mop-up. We are holding and destroying the enemy from the top," the general said.

Russian units use Lancet to wipe out Ukrainian combat vehicles in Kursk Region

MOSCOW,. Russian forces, using a Lancet loitering munition, have wiped out several Ukrainian armored combat vehicles in the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup North detected the movement of enemy vehicles and used Lancet munitions and drones to eliminate them.

The ministry provided footage of the attack.

Russian helicopter strikes Ukrainian troops in borderline district of Kursk Region

MOSCOW,A Mi-28NM attack helicopter of Russia’s Aerospace Forces has delivered a strike on Ukrainian troops in a borderline area of the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The army aviation crew of a Mi-28NM helicopter has delivered a strike with airborne projectiles on Ukrainian troops, armored hardware and military motor vehicles in a borderline district in the Kursk Region," it said in a statement.

The ministry provided footage of the attack.

The military agency added that, having received a confirmation from reconnaissance that all targets have been eliminated, pilots successfully returned to their home base.

Ukraine Loses Over 5,500 Troops, 71 Tanks in Kursk Region Since August 6

MOSCOW Ukraine has lost over 5,500 troops, 71 tanks, 57 armored personnel carriers and other military equipment in the Russian region of Kursk since early August, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the [Ukrainian] losses amounted to more than 5,500 troops, 71 tanks, 30 infantry fighting vehicles, 57 armoured personnel carriers, 372 armoured fighting vehicles," the defense ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost 170 motor vehicles, 36 artillery guns, five anti-aircraft missile systems, 11 multiple launch rocket launchers, including three HIMARS systems and one multiple launch rocket system, seven electronic warfare stations, a counter-battery warfare station, four units of engineering vehicles, including two counterobstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle.
In the attack on the Kursk Region alone, Ukraine lost more than 360 troops and 29 armored vehicles over the past 24 hours, the ministry estimated.
"Over the past 24 hours, the [Ukrainian] losses amounted to more than 360 troops and 29 units of hardware including two tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, two armoured personnel carriers, 22 armoured fighting vehicles, two artillery guns, 12 motor vehicles, one Bukovel-AD electronic warfare stations, and one counter-battery warfare station," the bulletin read.

Ukraine Loses 2,100 Troops in Special Operation Zone in Past Day

MOSCOW - The Ukrainian armed forces have lost approximately 2,100 servicepeople in the special operation zone over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
Russian troops of the West grouping inflicted losses on four Ukrainian brigades, eliminating up to 520 enemy soldiers.
Meanwhile, the South grouping of Russian troops repelled a Ukrainian counterattack and progressed to more advantageous positions, with Ukrainian forces losing up to 690 personnel during this period, the ministry said in a bulletin. Three Ukrainian ammunition depots were destroyed.
In the operational zones of the North grouping in the Sumy and Kharkov regions, Ukrainian forces lost up to 135 servicepeople and a German-supplied Marder infantry fighting vehicle. Ukraine also lost around 130 .

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called to congratulate Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the people on Ukraine's Independence Day, reports the Iranian president's press service. Putin's faithful lackey Lukashenko also suddenly “changed his shoes” and very curly congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day. The full congratulations were published by the head of state's press office.
