The affected learners had a high pitch cough, sneezed and had a low-grade fever, according to a statement issued by the school on Monday.

Doctors from the Integrated Disease Surveillance Response Department collected samples for analysis Kenya Medical Research Institute (Kemri).

The results were expected to be released on Thursday but the school is yet to communicate to parents and the public.

Health officials from Health ministry, Nairobi City County and volunteer doctors from the Starehe community are monitoring the situation at the school in Nairobi.

Unknown disease this time, Ebola? 😳
I don't think so going by the signs and symptoms as explained by the article such as sneezing and coughing and flu like symptoms.
How's your Government containing the Ebola like outbreak that has caused The UK and USA to give travel advisory warnings to it's citizens? The funny thing is that instead of your govt to try and fight the outbreak, it is instead fighting the free flow of information (Media) is akin to blocking the anus to remedy diarrhea. I just hope si Ebola.

Ebola is a virus that initially causes sudden fever, intense weakness, muscle pain and a sore throat
It progresses to vomiting, diarrhoea and both internal and external bleeding
People are infected when they have direct contact through broken skin, or the mouth and nose, with the blood, vomit, faeces or bodily fluids of someone with Ebola
Patients tend to die from dehydration and multiple organ failure
